Standard King vs Split King

A standard King keeps one continuous mattress surface. A Split King uses two Twin XL-sized sleep surfaces, which can be helpful when partners want independent base positioning or easier handling. A split-top design keeps part of the mattress connected while allowing the upper sections to articulate independently with a compatible setup.
