How to read the lineup

The 500 is the lowest-profile and firmest listed model. The 600 and 650 are both listed Medium Firm but use different comfort-layer counts. The 800 and 850 sit in the middle of the feel range with six inches of combined comfort layers. The 1000, 1100 and 1200 move into plusher descriptions, though the 1100 is actually lower-profile than the 1000 and 1200.

Don't choose by model number alone

Higher model numbers can change materials, profile and feel, but a shopper who wants a firmer surface may rationally prefer a lower-numbered model. Use the model number as a product identifier, not a quality score.
